The straight version

Can a mini-split really heat and cool a Texas garage?
Yes, sized correctly. Texas garages need honest load math because of the heat gain through the door and slab, and that’s the difference between a unit that keeps up in August and one that doesn’t. We size for the real space, insulation and all.
How many rooms can one outdoor unit serve?
Multi-zone outdoor units can run two to five indoor heads, each with its own remote and temperature. Whether one multi-zone or separate singles makes more sense depends on the layout, and we’ll price the comparison for you.
Are mini-splits expensive to run?
The opposite. They’re among the most efficient systems you can buy, and because you condition only the space you’re using, a garage or addition costs surprisingly little to keep comfortable.
How long does installation take?
A single-zone install is usually done in a day. Multi-zone systems typically run two days depending on lineset routing.
